A few new ones

Sophia LOVES to play with Tucker! Tucker only plays with one toy- a bunny- that he's had for years and years, and the squeaker doesn't work any more. Sophia chases him around the house trying to give him his bunny. She knows it's Tucker's toy, and giggles whenever he plays with it. This is a picture of the two of them playing underneath the desk.

Last weekend we took Sophia to see her great granny. Sophia had fun walking around granny's house and throwing all of granny's books and papers on the floor. She also got to see dear walking right outside granny's window.

Mountain vacation

Ricky and I decided it was time to finally take a vacation as a family. We had about a week off together, so we went to the mountains. We spent 2 nights in Crested Butte, 2 nights in Snowmass (near Aspen), and 2 nights in Beaver Creek. It was a wonderful vacation, and very relaxing- just what we needed! Sophia is now walking all over the place, and is a very busy little girl. Here are some pictures from the trip.

Ok, so I've been a slacker and haven't updated in a long time! Sophia took her first steps a few weeks ago, but still hasn't started walking, until TODAY! She would take a step here, 2 steps there, but nothing more. About 30 minutes ago, she really walked! Took 8 steps until she got to me sitting on the couch, and then took another 8 steps. Just now she took 10 steps. I think we may have a toddler on our hands, just before turning 14 months.

Other updates include her having a total of 6 teeth. She throws temper tantrums when you tell her no, or make her do something she doesn't like, and she enjoys standing on her rocking toy instead of sitting on it! She's trouble, but she's so cute!
