A little fun on a beautiful day

My friend and I decided to take a trip to a cupcake shop in Cherry Creek. We then went to the park just to chat and enjoy the beautiful spring day. Typical Colorado it had snowed one day earlier, and if I remember correctly snowed the next day as well. My friend loves taking pictures, so here are a few from our fun spring afternoon. I was 34 weeks pregnant.

Babymoon March 17-19, 2010

We decided it would be a good idea to spend a little time together, just the two of us, before our little Sophia arrives in about 6-7 weeks! Sarah is 33.5 weeks pregnant, and time is flying by! Before we know it, she'll be here. We decided to go to Las Vegas and stay at the Ritz-Carlton which is about 20 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. We enjoyed the seclusion of the hotel, but spent many hours walking around the strip, enjoying the fabulous restaurants, playing games at Circus Circus (just like Sarah remembers from her only other trip to Vegas as a kid), and just having a good time. The weather was perfect, so we were able to enjoy relaxing by the pool at the hotel. We also took a trip out to the Hoover Dam, which was gorgeous!
