Sick
On Tuesday afternoon I started noticing Sophia not acting normally, and she felt a little warm. She had a low grade temperature, so she got Tylenol. She was screaming hysterically and it took us a long time to settle her down. She woke up Wednesday morning quite happy, but much more clingy than normal. Wednesday, late afternoon, she did the same thing, got another low grade fever, and screamed uncontrollably. Poor Ricky had to stay home with a very unhappy baby Wednesday night while I worked. She is very much a momma's girl when she's not feeling well. So, this morning we took her to the doctor. She was also fussy this morning, but no temperature. The doctor checked her ears, listened to her etc. She didn't find anything. While calming Sophia down again, the doctor went over things too look for, and was telling us it may just be a waiting game to see if she gets worse. Then, she looked in her throat, and voila! The source of our trouble... a very red, sore, pus pocketed throat! So, Sophia is now on Tylenol every 4 hours until she feels better. Our poor little girl has her first illness.

Toys and Sleeping
Somethings I forgot to mention in my posts earlier today:
1. Sophia slept 8 hours and 8 hours 45 minutes while we were in Seattle! It was so great to get a couple of good nights sleep, but unfortunately she has only repeated it once since being back.
2. Our last night in Seattle Sophia reached for a toy for the first time! It was so fun watching her grab for something and play with it. Now she does it all the time.

Rolling over!!!
Yes, it's true, Sophia is rolling over! I can't believe it. She started rolling over at exactly 14 weeks, on August 13th. We are so proud. She can roll from her Stomach to her back, now she has to learn how to roll from her back to her stomach.
We have a video but I haven't figured out how to post it. Does any one know how to do that??? It says it's uploading, but never does, so frustrating.

Seattle
We were in Seattle from July 31st until August 6th. It was such an amazing trip. Sophia was wonderful, as always. She even behaved herself on the airplane! Although, on our flight to Seattle, she decided it would be a good idea to poo, and not just a little, but a lot, to require an outfit change. At least Ricky and I avoided getting anything on us. Now that I think about it, Ricky did get a little spit up on him! Overall though, it was pretty easy traveling. Once in Seattle we spent a lot of time with my family. We stayed at Liz and Drew's house, as did Michael King and his family, so it was a packed house with 6 adults, 6 kids and a baby! Saturday night the whole family came over for dinner at Liz's, Sunday was Michael and Catherine's wedding by the beach, Monday was dinner at Liz's with s'mores, Tuesday we went hiking, Wednesday we went to Bainbridge island, and then had dinner by the beach in Seattle, and Thursday we went kayaking, and had a pizza party at Michael's house (homemade pizza). We left at the crack of dawn on Friday morning because I had to go back to work Friday night. That was one of the most difficult things for me.
I'm am currently working full time but this will be my last week full time. I go back to school next week. We are still waiting to hear whether or not they will be giving me a part time position at work. Hopefully one of these nights I won't cry when I leave for work! I love what I do, but I hate leaving Sophia!
Below are some of my favorite pictures from our time in Seattle. There were so many to choose from! I took over 400 pictures!
