Photographer

On April 16th we had Katie VanBuren come to our house to take some maternity photos. Katie was the photographer who photographed our wedding, and we just loved her. She has such an artistic eye, so we thought she'd be the perfect person to do some maternity photos! These are just a few of the photos she took, and we are eagerly awaiting to see the rest of them! Every time Sarah sat down on "his" daybed, Tucker promptly would jump into her lap... Katie couldn't help but take a few pictures! Sarah was almost 38 weeks when these pictures were taken.

Baby shower #2

On April 17th, Sarah's cousins Sharilyn and Jennifer, and aunt Sherry threw Sarah another baby shower at Jen's house. All the Dougherty family was invited as well as some family friends, like Laurie, Linda, Michele, and Cindy. It was so great to see that family, who we really don't see unless there is a special occasion. Larry was the brave man who came to see his family! It was a lovely afternoon. Notice the center piece - a diaper cake that Sharilyn made!

Baby shower #1

On April 11, two of Sarah's friends from work threw her a baby shower at our house. It was a wonderful afternoon full of lots of delicious food, appetizers, chocolate fountains, cupcakes, and a candy bar! It was so great to see everyone from Sarah's work and old friends. Ricky was even daring enough to show up at the end of the party to help open presents and eat lots of fruit dipped in the chocolate fountain!
